Easy Homemade Beauty Products

homemade beauty products

Winter is coming. Here are some of the best beauty products that you can make at home to prevent dry skin and frizzy hair that only require a few ingredients and don’t break the bank.

  • Body Scrubs

Body scrubs are some of the easiest products you can make at home and most likely you already have all the ingredients necessary in your cupboard. Some of the most popular ones are sugar scrubs, coffee scrubs, and sea salt based scrubs. They also make perfect gifts when packaged in a nice jar with a pretty ribbon (don’t ribbons make just everything better?).

Here are 7 all natural scrubs to try out.

  • Hair masks

Coconut oil, honey, egg yolk, olive oil, lemon are great ingredients for quick hair masks you can do at home if your hair feels frizzy or dry, or you just need some extra shine.

Here are 4 simple homemade hair masks.

  • Makeup remover

Michelle Phan has a great homemade makeup remover option based on aloe vera and extra virgin olive oil. Find it here.

  • Face masks

Honey, avocado, pumpkin, green tea, yoghurt, cucumbers are some of the most common ingredients for effective and simple face masks. We wouldn’t recommend falling asleep with them on though.

  • Acne paste

Acne always comes out at worst of times. First date? Acne rash. Job interview? Acne rash. Important business meeting? Acne rash. Although there is no magic wand you can try this aspirin, honey, and water acne paste   to help it out a bit. Make sure beforehand though you don’t have an aspirin allergy.
